As anticipated, our in-house sculptural ceramicist, Felix Paquet, continues to transcend the boundaries of a single medium. Following the swift sellout of his ceramic works, Paquet felt an instinctive pull toward broader realms of visual expression.
His latest work, Fragments, emerges from a desire to breathe new life into remnants—dried clay left behind in the creative process. Rather than discard these materials, he sought to transform them, challenging the notion of waste by sculpting something both evocative and conceptually rich.
Fragments resonates in myriad ways. For Paquet, it is a meditation on memory—an orchestrated disarray of once-abandoned thoughts.
